Vaica is a telemedicine company bringing together Remote Patient Management (RPM), collecting vitals remotely, and Remote Therapeutic Management (RTM) tracking the patient’s medication adherence and persistence. By doing so, Vaica’s solutions provide the necessary cross- correlation between the patient’s medication regimen and its effect on their vitals.

We, at Vaica, believe that for making informed clinical decisions, based on Real World Evidence, you can’t have one without the other.

Managing care of chronically-ill patients requires a comprehensive solution for medication adherence management, along with remote patient monitoring of leading health indicators, such as weight, blood pressure, glucose and oxygen saturation levels. Every patient and disease are different; a good medication adherence solution must address all medication modalities and intake methods.

Together, these create a complete end-to-end (service provider to patient) solution. Highlights

Vaica’s team took part in the European Society of Clinical Pharmacy (ESCP) symposium in Lisbon, Portugal and presented its medication dispenser line of products and innovations including the brand new NFC communication capabilities. This new capability enables special medication (injectable, liquid, inhalers) ID identification.

Vaica’s team traveled to Paris and presented the new SimpleMed Suit at PharmaPack Europe 2016. The SimpleMed Suit is a special medication dispenser solution for biological drugs as well as special packed medication. 

Maccabi Healthcare, the 2nd largest HMO in Israel has been using the SimpleMed medication adherence dispenser for the past 6 years. Recently they started using the second generation SimpleMed – the SimpleMed+. This solution has raised adherence levels in their CHF patients from 70% to 96%.

Vaica has launched “Medy”- a new application, as a supporting product to Vaica’s complete solution. The “Medy” app will assist in reminders for patients that require simple reminders in a different format. Medy is downloadable from apple app store.

Vaica introduced a new member to its family of products- “SimpleMed MS” that is especially designed for measuring adherence levels within MS patints and plays a major part in a new clinical trial performed in cooperation with Carmel medical center, Haifa.
